Following the success of our first and second funding rounds, we’re pleased to announce our third Hope Funds round is now open. We are looking to fund projects from registered charities, social enterprises, and community groups that align with our strategic objectives. Our funding will offer grants up to £10,000 for projects across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire.
We know from research that homelessness is increasing across East Anglia and the UK, with bed spaces and services being reduced or eliminated. Additionally, there is a growing need for support for children experiencing homelessness, as this number has increased by over 80% in recent years. In light of these circumstances, our third funding round will prioritise applications addressing one or more of the following:
- Homelessness prevention
- Increasing bed spaces for those experiencing homelessness
- The reduction or alleviation of the impact of homelessness on children
It has always been a core objective of Hopestead to create strong sustainable communities and build empowering partnerships. We aim to do so by using our platform to offer funding to organisations that share our values and contribute to the prevention, reduction, and eradication of homelessness. We know that we are far more likely to be successful and impactful in tackling homelessness and its causes by partnering with others.

Timeline for funding round is as follows:
- 1st June 2023 – Funding round opens
- 30th June 2023 – Application closing date
- 28th August 2023 – We aim to respond to all applicants by this date
